If you are traveling through the game quickly or have a lower-end machine you might see our loading walls. These are there to prevent you from walking into unloaded areas. You may see them when you are playing in multiplayer games, either as the host or the player who has joined a world. These also can be affected by your networking and connection speed if you are playing an Online game.
They should go away after a few moments, once the next area is loaded properly. The way they function is that they will temporarily block your forward progress into the next area, even if you try to push through them. In some cases, players may encounter a loading process that needs a quick update to the zones, and this will result in a full loading screen (it will appear black, with the anvil and hammer animating icon). Occasionally a player who is too close to the loading wall may be teleported to a safe distance near to the loading wall, once the game has finished the loading process.
Other Tips and Tricks:
It is highly recommended you install Return to Moria on an SSD if possible. Older-generation traditional hard drives do not have the required throughput to appropriately load the huge files, textures, and other gameplay content that the game is loading as you proceed through the world.
